Starting April 1, 2018, the AICPA has determined that the CPA Exam will undergo a series of changes set to improve the User Experience.  Among these updates is the inclusion of Microsoft Excel, which is replacing the previous generic spreadsheet tool that has been available within the Exam. 

If you are like me, your life is getting busier and busier all of the time. There is always something on the to-do list and studying for the exam is never convenient. In order to make quality time for studying, many things that are considered a routine part of my lifestyle had to change.

I have made a lot of mistakes along the way during my CPA Exam journey and have learned many lessons as a result. I’m so much wiser now in terms of what to expect prior to and during this process. Some of the challenges that have come about over the years have been unavoidable, and that’s okay, because that’s just the nature of life.

While you may have given plenty of second chances to the people around you, remember that this phrase is also very applicable to yourself. As a CPA Exam candidate, there’s lots of challenges you encounter in juggling life with passing the exam.

I am pretty excited about studying for the AUD section of the CPA Exam because this involves what I do for a living. As a government auditor, most of the topics covered relate to what I do at work on a daily basis. I believe that this works to my advantage because I am all too familiar with the audit process.
