UWorld Roger CPA Review was pleased to participate in the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Virtual Conference this past September. Although this was the first time that NABA has held this conference in a completely virtual environment, the event provided a plethora of beneficial opportunities for attendees. This included helpful workshops, networking opportunities, guest speakers, and regional scholarship and awards ceremonies.
As a participant of this event, it was our privilege to honor eight outstanding future CPAs with a full-ride scholarship to our Elite-Unlimited course, each valued at over $3,000. Recipients were chosen by scholarship committees from the four NABA regions across the United States.
“We are so proud of these recipients and the dedication they have shown towards advancing their careers,” said Charlotte Roberts, Senior Vice President of E-Learning at UWorld Roger CPA Review. “We look forward to joining them on their journey to obtaining CPA licensure.”
“Thank you for providing me with this opportunity,” said Izobo Osarenkhoe, a scholarship recipient from the University of North Texas. “Receiving a no-cost review course will be such a tremendous help to my studies and will accelerate the timeline of my goal. Once I earn a CPA license, I am confident that I will become a more adept and in-demand professional.”
Without further ado, we are pleased to announce our 2020 NABA Virtual Conference Scholarship recipients:
