CALCPA Ambassador Program

We at Roger CPA Review would like to dedicate an entry to the

Our very own Roger CPA Review Campus Representative, Brandon Durkin from CSU Chico has joined the 2013 CalCPA Ambassador team.  Brandon is a great example of how being a Roger CPA Review Representative and being a CalCPA Ambassador is a perfect marriage!

You may be asking yourself, what is the CalCPA Ambassador program and how can I get involved?  The CalCPA Ambassador program is one where student representatives throughout various Universities in California are selected to increase awareness and visibility of CalCPA.  CalCPA is the leader of providing California CPA licensure information and CPE as well as accounting industry news.

Our CSUN campus rep, Nuphar Halpern, was elected to be one of the first CalCPA Ambassadors for 2012 and describes her position as a unique opportunity for students to take part in a professional network prior to graduation while being provided the tools to become a successful business person.  Some of tools that campus ambassadors are provided with are receiving a mentor, attending specific chapter events free of charge, and a stipend at the end of each semester in exchange for our time.

We look forward to seeing these new Ambassadors shine on campus!  If you have any questions about CalCPA or their student membership (currently free!), please visit the CalCPA website
