After checking the NASBA Candidate Online Advisory Score site all day long on Friday, I finally got my score around 4:30pm. I was getting really worried that they were not going to release the scores early (they were scheduled for a Monday release) because last time I got my score around 2:00pm the business day before the scheduled release.
So, I almost didn’t notice that my score had appeared when I hit that score button for the thousandth time. I got an 88! I passed AUD! No Clarity Project for me! I am so amazed that I passed despite losing my job 4 days before my AUD Exam. I really could not have done it without Roger CPA Review.
My next steps are a bit overwhelming. I have to update my resume, apply for jobs, and brush up on my interview skills but most importantly I have decided that I will study for REG next. Hopefully my experience last tax season will come in handy. The one good thing about losing my job is that I suddenly have a lot more time to study. If I play my cards right, I should have no problem taking REG in the beginning of the next testing window.
I want to try to take advantage of the time that I have been given. Instead of life getting in the way of the CPA exam, this time, life got out of the way. There are so many uncertainties in my life right now and so many things that I cannot control. I can control how much I study and I know that if I study, I will pass.
