Alright! After many hours of reviewing CPA review courses, it is now time to actually study for the CPA Exam

They say that it is hard to break a habit but I also think that it is hard to start one.  In my first week with the Roger CPA Review course, I spent a lot of time figuring out how I was going to study.  I found that not only did I need to find the time to study; I also needed to find the space.

Currently, I have my study station set up on my dining room table.  I realize because my roommate told me that this is only a temporary arrangement.  In the meantime, I will be looking for a large desk and somewhere to put it.

I am also having trouble getting into a study routine.  I come home after work, eat dinner and before you know it, it is time for bed or at least that is how it seems.  My one saving grace is that I take public transportation to and from work so I am able to watch Rogers videos on my cell phone during my commute.  For this reason, I think that I will also buy the new Practice Tests App from Roger CPA Review.

Luckily, the what to study is a little easier.  Roger has great study plans to help you on your goal of passing the CPA Exam in 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.  Although I plan on finishing the exam in a year, I am going to follow the 9 month study plan.  Since I am starting right before the holidays, I am hoping that I can accelerate my studying now so that I can relax around the holidays or at least as much as one can relax around the holidays.

I still have to sign up for the CPA Exam itself and hopefully next week I will be able to report back on that!
