Why did you take Roger CPA Review?
I took the course because I wanted to achieve something that, up until that point in my career, had beaten me. I took a few sections of the CPA Exam while I was working at a Big Four firm right out of college. At that time, my heart wasn’t in it and I took the exams just because it was something I was supposed to do. I went into those sections basically without preparing. However, this time around, more than eight years since my first effort, I wanted to beat the exam. I decided that I was going to pass and started looking for a review course that was different than those I had tried in the past.

What was your favorite aspect of the course?
I mostly enjoyed Roger’s style of presenting in that he could keep my attention and keep me interested in the subjects. The course helped me pass all four sections in a row – my first try for each with Roger CPA Review.
How has passing the exam affected your personal and professional life?
Previously, I had given up on passing the exam and had resolved that I would never do it. Now I’m set to be licensed as a CPA in Ohio next month. I now feel much more prepared to help lead our team. It’s an incredible feeling to achieve something that at one time seemed impossible.
What piece of advice do you have for other CPA Exam candidates?
Learn as much as you can about the exam process and strategies for managing the exam time. This helped me be as prepared as possible for the test environment. Also, make sure you commit to following one of the exam planners provided by Roger CPA Review and complete all the recommended preparation.
