This is a great time for exam takers. Scores have been released over the past couple weeks and people are either extremely happy or not all that pleased with the results. There is no better news than passing a section. It’s all of your hard work paying off and also the satisfaction of knowing you can put a section behind you. After passing an exam you have momentum going your way and it makes it a whole lot easier to move onto the next section.
But, it is also important to take something positive from a failed attempt. Staying persistent and maintaining the mindset that you are still getting closer to your end goal of passing all four parts is the best way to look at it. Attached to your score results is some pretty useful information that lets you know what areas you were strong in and what areas you may need to work on. If you take note of the material you struggled with, you can give it extra attention during your study sessions and be ready for it the next time you take the exam. The passing rate shows that the CPA exam is a difficult test and unfortunately failing an exam is something that is often a part of the process.
Like Roger says, if you put in the time and stay at it, you’ll get through it!
