CPA Exam Requirements
Education Requirements
Credit Requirements: 120 semester units (225 quarter units)
Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate degree
Additional Requirements: 15 semester hours of accounting with at least 3 hours in auditing and attestation and one or more of the following: financial accounting and reporting for business, financial accounting for government and not-for-profit, auditing and attestation services, manager/cost accounting, taxation, fraud examination, internal controls and risk assessment, financial state analysis, accounting research and analysis, tax research and analysis, accounting information systems, ethics relevant to the practice of public accounting

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required
Minimum Age: None
Additional Requirements: It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state

Educational Requirement: 120 Semester hours
Participates in International Exam Program: Yes
Experience Requirements: 2 years of work experience verified by a licensed CPA and complete experience affidavit. May be fulfilled before, during, or after passing the CPA Exam.
