CPA Exam Requirements
Education Requirements
Credit Requirements: 150 semester units (225 quarter units)
Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate
Additional Requirements: 24 hours of upper division or graduate level accounting
24 semester hours of business courses
Residency Requirements
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required
Minimum Age: 18
Additional Requirements: You must be a resident, be regularly employed in the State, or be a University of Wyoming graduate. Educational requirements must be completed no later than 90 days after the actual date the candidate took the first exam section

Social Security Requirement: Yes
Educational Requirement: 150 Semester hours (including Bachelor’s Degree)
Participates in International Exam Program: Yes
Experience Requirements: 1 year (2,000 hours) of experience in the last 5 years prior to the application date. Experience must be verified by an active CPA and must include services provided in the areas of accounting or auditing service, tax service, management or financial advisory service, or consulting service
Ethics Exam: Must pass AICPA Professional Ethics Exam
