Why did you take Roger CPA Review?
I chose Roger CPA review because the lectures and Roger’s teaching style appealed to me.
How did you hear about our review course?
I looked up CPA Review courses online, and went through all the websites. It took me a while to decide with all the courses out there and student reviews, and with no one to really to ask first hand. I think I knew all along though that Roger was the CPA Review course for me! I was sold on it from the get go.
What was your favorite aspect of the course?
It was most definitely the lectures. Roger’s inimitable and unique teaching style was the perfect fit for someone working full time like myself – the lectures made me laugh at the same time as helping me grasp some really difficult concepts. Case in point : TT, BPO, 75 or 90! I don’t think I’m going to forget that jingle (and what it stood for- Leases!) any time soon.
Another great part of the online course was the entire website was REALLY easy to navigate, the dashboard, the questions bank, Homework Help Center, etc. All of this provides a great deal of security while prepping for an exam like the CPA. Knowing you’ve got all the help you need at the click of a button is a good feeling to have.
How has passing the exam affected your personal and professional life?
Personally, I feel a great sense of accomplishment, and this has actually helped me pursue other things in life, and stop procrastinating.
Professionally, I feel that the concepts learned as part of my exam preparation help a great deal in real working life – I work in Fund Accounting, and understanding the details of what goes into a set of Financial Statements has enabled me to bring a lot of confidence and professionalism to my work.
What piece of advice do you have for other CPA Exam candidates?
Simply to keep going. Do not let anything that comes in the way become an obstacle –this exam truly is a test of discipline more than anything. Keep at it, do all of the practice questions in your course and go over the concepts as many times as possible.
Anything else you would like to share?
I’d just like to say a big THANK YOU to Roger and his wonderful and helpful team!
