Why did you take Roger CPA Review?

When I started preparing for the CPA exam I did not have a job lined up and therefore I did not have an employer willing to help me pay for a review course. I was looking for something that was affordable. I was able to take all four parts of the exam, Roger’s course, and order all my transcripts for less than what I would have paid for Becker.

How has passing the exam affected your personal and professional life?

I passed all four of the tests on the first try, which has given me a lot of bragging rights amongst other first years at my firm. I also passed all my tests within my first year of being at my firm so I am receiving a $5,000 bonus!

Anything else you would like to share?

I was a Journalism major in my undergrad, then a few years later went back to school and got my MBA. I took the minimum amount of accounting course work to qualify for the CPA exam. With that said, I never took any auditing, taxes, information systems, or advanced accounting courses. I was able to learn everything I needed to know for the test from Roger’s teachings.
