Did you know that if you are selected as Roger CPA Reviews Student of the Month you get an awesome prize pack? It’s really easy to submit your application online and if you haven’t done so, I recommend that you fill your entry out right away. I was so thrilled to be selected as the July student of the month and I want to thank Roger and his staff for selecting me. I was even more thrilled to receive my Roger Prize Pack in the mail. I wont tell you everything that was in it because then I will ruin your surprise… but it was loaded with goodies! My favorite item by far was the letter from Roger himself. Thanks Roger!
A lot has happened since I last wrote. After two hard months of looking, I finally got a new job. I had reached out to my previous employer in Ohio and luckily, he was able to find me a new position in one of his companies. He owns several car dealerships and other related entities. I’m overjoyed to once again be a part of his wonderful organization. I will be running the office for one of his entities and helping him start a new one. This position will allow me to couple my accounting knowledge with my creative spirit.
So, along with a new job I have also had to relocate to Ohio. Since I still have a lease in Pittsburgh, I have been staying with family until I can find a place of my own. With all of my belongings being divided between my Pittsburgh apartment, a storage facility and where I am staying, I have been a little less than organized. Thank goodness my CPA courses are readily available online.
With all of the commotion, I have put my CPA studies on the back burner (not for long though). It looks like I will not be taking REG until the next testing window. I want to make sure that I am completely ready. I also want to give myself some time to settle in to wherever I end up living. I do not think that I would be able to cram enough to take REG by the end of the month.
Id love to hear from anyone who has switched states in the middle of taking the CPA exam because that is the next thing that I have to look into. Thanks in advance!
