As we’re all well aware, the first round of score release for the new 2017 CPA Exam occurred last month. Due to the transition from the old to new exam in April this past year, score release at the beginning of Q2 was delayed. That means that for some CPA Exam candidates who took the exam during that time, they had to wait up to 20 weeks to find out whether or not they passed.

In addition to the longer-than-usual wait, many candidates were also weary about how the new exam would affect their scores. But now that the results are officially in, it turns out that the new exam is nothing to fear as many people are passing!

So we thought we’d continue to celebrate candidates’ successes in passing the new exam by gathering some of the best tweets on the subject.

Luckily, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) updated the score release timeline for the remainder of 2017 and Q1 of 2018, and it looks like the score release cadence is back to normal. Candidates can now expect to receive their scores at regular internals (about 2.5 weeks after they take their exam).

So don’t delay and take the CPA Exam today! Don’t be intimidated by the 2017 CPA Exam. People are passing and feel that it’s not much different than its previous version. The sooner you take it, the better off you’ll be.

We’d like to once again congratulate everyone who passed after waiting! And for those who didn’t–keep a chin up! We know you’ll definitely get it the second time around. In the meantime, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) shared this video for those who are wondering about conditional credit expirations
