I did it! I passed BEC and I am going to be a CPA! I could not be happier. I was so nervous about BECs writing section and I thought for sure that I had failed. During the exam I was able to finish all of the writing sections but I did not have enough time to proofread them as much as I would have liked. I went over on my time in the MCQs because I got hung up on one question and I only allowed myself a little over 30 minutes for the writing section. (Word of advice, don’t hold onto one question like I did. At some point you just have to move on.) I would have been a lot better off if I had allowed myself 45 minutes for the last section like Roger recommended. That was the first time that I had ever run out of time on an exam!
Then when I got my scores last week I could barely hold my excitement. Not only did I pass, I got a 90! I’m finally done with my CPA exam journey and I passed all of the sections on my first try! Failing and then having to write publicly about it has been my biggest fear and now I don’t have to worry about it. I just need to get all of my licensing requirements together and Ill be a licensed CPA before you know it.So, this will be my last blog post. Writing this blog has been very helpful for me and I hope that it has also been helpful for you. Again, I just want to thank Roger and his staff. I cant imagine attempting the CPA exam without them. The CPA exam isn’t easy but remember, if you study you will pass!
Congrats Daniela! Thank you for writing for us as you studied hard; your blog posts have been appreciated and enjoyed by this CPA Exam community. We wish you great success in your coming future!
