This week’s Meet the Roger CPA Review Team Q&A Series is with Armin Lindegger, Project Coordinator. Learn more about his love for the city, of San Francisco and his passion for learning Spanish.
And now, without further ado, here’s…
A Q&A with Armin Lindegger, Project Coordinator at Roger CPA Review
What do you do at Roger CPA Review?
My title is project coordinator but over the years here I have become somewhat more of a personal assistant to Roger himself. I also work closely with our field and marketing teams, processing data and facts from all kinds of events we sponsor.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Roger CPA Review?
I love working with so many young and incredibly talented people. It is very stimulating. I have seen the company grow tremendously over the past few years and we are always changing and adapting to the market and the demands. We have an outstanding team here!
How does your current position influence what you’re passionate about?
My current position gives me the opportunity to help and assist my boss and my co-workers, which I really love. I have become a the go-to-person here for all kinds of needs and special situations. It is very rewarding at the end of the day.
Who has impacted you most in your life and how?
Sorry, can’t really name one particular person here. Probably teachers and very knowledgeable people have always been my idols. Also kind and compassionate people influence me on a daily basis.
If you could go back in time and do one thing over, what would it be and why?
Ok. I would have tried to learn Spanish sooner, while younger and probably still easier to learn, but then again, I was still somewhat new to the English language.
If you could offer one piece of career (or life) advice to recent college graduates, what would it be?
Don’t stand still. Move, see new things and learn new skills. We can all always better ourselves….even if we fail sometimes, what matters in the long run is what we’ve learned from it.
What is your favorite quote or mantra?
‘Fools wait for a lucky day but every day is a lucky day for an industrious man.’ – Buddha
Basically, don’t wait for good things to happen, make them happen!
How do you plan to enjoy the rest of the holiday season?
Going for walks with my dog to do more street photography and discover new street art which is something I am really interested in. Also watching more TV series and films in Spanish to practice what I have been learning all year long.
