There is a bit of confusion floating around the online world for CPA Exam candidates regarding the December Testing Window extension. Does the extension apply to only those affected by Hurricane Sandy, or everyone across the country?

According to a Prometric representative, the Testing Window extension was put in place because of Hurricane Sandy, but not exclusively for those affected by it. The extended Testing Window is open to everyone across the United States.
For instance, if you are scheduled to sit for your exam in California during the extended Testing Window, you are good to go!
