CPA Exam Requirements


Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: 150 semester units (225 quarter units)

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate with 150 semester units

Additional Requirements: At least 30 semester units of accounting courses (intermediate level or higher), including financial accounting theory, cost or managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting information systems, and government or not-for-profit accounting. At least 36 semester units of general business courses, including macroeconomics, microeconomics,business law, marketing, management, finance, business ethics, and principles of accounting
