Valentine’s Day is known as the day couples celebrate and recognize their love. For those who are single, Valentine’s Day is popularly deemed as “single’s awareness day.” Regardless of which category you fall into, we think that all of us can agree that there is no greater joy than being able to love a CPA. Not feelin’ that statement? Here are our 5 reasons to love a CPA:
1. They know how to save you money.
Everyone loves some extra cash when tax refunds come around. A CPA knows where to pinch pennies, so your tax refund might be a little bigger than expected. This means your piggy bank remains nice and chubby, and maybe you’ll use some of that chub on a nice pair of Italian shoes for your CPA.
2. They are stable and dependable
Stability and dependability are key in any relationship. CPAs are used to stability because their job is one of the most secure professions in the industry! They’re not going to have a mental breakdown on you because you forgot to pick up the dry cleaning. CPAs are goal-oriented and focused, so they wont flake or cancel plans last minute. CPAs are also dependable and trustworthy because they deal with the financials of large corporations and even important individuals. This is significant because you can trust them with your secrets, feelings, and hey, even your life.
3. They are ethical.
Before CPAs get their license, they are required to pass an ethics exam. It’s basically a test that teaches them not to lie or withhold important information. You can love a CPA’s honesty because if you ask them, “Do I look fat in this dress?” they will tell you the truth (and this will save you the embarrassment of looking fat in public!). We’re assuming here that all CPAs carry over workplace honesty into other aspects of their lives. 🙂
4. The CPA License
Maybe you’re still not convinced about loving a CPA. But what about the CPA license itself? If you’re reading this, you’re most likely pursuing a CPA. You have a TON to love about this license. Just think, this license gets you prestige, financial security, challenging and rewarding work, the opportunity to contribute to society, and a bucket-load of other benefits. Yes, the path to a CPA might be grueling, but just try and tell us otherwise when you see those 3 letters at the end of your name.
5. They look GREAT in suits.
If we haven’t convinced you yet, then it’s time to get superficial. There’s just something about a spiffy suit that makes a CPA look even more attractive than usual. Just ask your aspiring CPA to put on a suit for you tonight and you’ll see what we mean.
